HR Seminar June 2018

On Wednesday, June 6^th, Nancy Murphy, CAMP’s Vice President of Operations and Susan Blackburn, President of CAMP, presented a seminar entitled “Navigating Muddy HR Waters” for the Chesapeake Chapter of CAI.  The seminar focused on the myriad of responsibilities associated with being an employer and supervisor of staff in common interest communities.  The presentation was designed to help supervisors build their confidence level when dealing with personnel issues and to help them recognize when to bring a human resource specialist into the equation to protect the employer and supervisor from unnecessary liability.  Ed O’Connell and Mike Gartner of the law firm of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston were co-presenters.
